Not Your Average French Bread Pizza

Yes, anybody can make French bread pizza. You get some sauce, slather it on the bread, throw some mozzarella cheese on there, maybe some pepperonis and then ya just put it in the oven. However, these aren't your average Italian bread pizzas, because I put some time, love, and some better than average ingredients into these. Also notice I said Italian bread pizza; this is because I opted to go for a Italian bread loaf instead of French bread...however, French bread would work with this recipe as well. The result? Anything but ordinary...because I have to say I've slapped french bread pizzas together before but none of them have tasted quite like these! I'm not exaggerating when I say that these are probably the best French bread pizzas I've ever had! Just goes to show you that if you put love into anything the result will be tasty. :) Next time you make french bread pizzas try it this way and I bet soon enough you'll be making some for your mama!

I started by getting some:
1. really fresh store made Italian bread
2. tasty pasta sauce in a jar
3. a very important ingredient is fresh mozzarella (not talking about the shredded stuff in a bag but the squishy ball-shaped variety that you can literally tear apart)
4. pepperoni
5. olive oil
6. red bell peppers
7. sliced black olives (from can)
8. garlic (from jar), oregano, basil

How to go about the process:
1. Slice the bread to desired size
2. Drizzle olive oil onto each of your pieces of sliced bread
3. Bake in the oven for about 7 minutes on 450F to get bread nice and toasty
4. When it comes out of the oven, put garlic on your now toasty bread, then add sauce and sprinkle with oregano and basil
5. Layer cheese, pepperoni, olives and peppers on pizza...like pizza in picture below

6. Throw in the oven for about 25 minutes on 450F or until looks done and...Enjoy!
