Let's Grab Lunch: The Amazing Pizza Sandwich

In case you haven't noticed, I've been crazy for pizza lately. Who am I kidding? I'm always crazy for pizza. While in the state of always in the mood for pizza, I decided that pizza needed a sandwich. So while making a delicious Italian sub I decided to add a few extra pizza ingredients into the mix and the  results were extraordinary!

Ingredients:

  • French bread sliced thin style
  • Pepperoni
  • Salami
  • Ragu Pizza Sauce
  • Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • Black Sliced Olives
  • Banana Pepper

Steps:

Cut your French bread thin style, meaning just like you see in the picture.

Then spread a generous amount of Ragu pizza sauce on one side of the bread.

After of which, you can simply lay out your toppings of several slices of pepperoni, olives, banana peppers on top and whatever amount of shredded mozzarella cheese you desire. For extra flavor in the sandwich, I put some of the banana pepper juice that the banana peppers resided in when they were in the jar. Wow, did it give the sandwich a nice zesty kick!

Finally you can top all those ingredients with at least 3 slices of salami. Then lightly toast the sandwich in the toaster oven until your cheese melts inside and all those delicious ingredients bond together inside.
